Sinead Geoghegan

Sinead Geoghegan is the Owner and Registered Manager of County Road Dental Practice, bringing together a strong background in finance, business management and dental care.

Before entering dentistry, Sinead qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2001, having graduated with a BA (Hons) in Politics & Economics from Newcastle University. She spent over a decade working in senior financial, audit and project management roles, including with KPMG and Liverpool Mutual Homes.

Sinead made the move into dentistry in 2016, completing her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing and registering with the GDC. Her experience as a dental nurse provided an excellent foundation for the next step in her career: taking the leap with her husband, Paul, and purchasing County Road Dental Practice in 2017.

Since then, Sinead has overseen the financial, operational and regulatory management of the practice, helping to ensure that it remains a well-run, safe and welcoming environment for both patients and the dental team.

Her background as a Chartered Accountant provides Sinead with a strong understanding of the business and financial aspects of running a dental practice, while her experience as a qualified dental nurse gives her valuable insight into the clinical environment and the experiences of both patients and the dental team.

Sinead is committed to creating a welcoming practice where patients feel cared for and the dental team has the support and resources needed to provide a high standard of care.

Outside of work, Sinead spends much of her time acting as a taxi driver for her sons' various sporting activities. When she gets the chance, she also enjoys fitting in the occasional Pilates class!
